Painting Mountains and Lakes Workshop | Thursday 2nd July | 9:00-11:00am
In this 2-hour painting workshop, we take inspiration from the beautiful mountains and lakes around Füssen. The class is open to both travellers and locals, offering a relaxed and friendly space to create, meet people, and share ideas.
You’re welcome to bring your own reference photos for inspiration, or simply work from your imagination. We’ll explore a range of materials and approaches, including watercolour, ink, pencils, collage, and mixed media. I’ll guide you through different ways of building a landscape and share tips along the way to help you develop your own expressive style in a simple, approachable way.
We’ll focus on blocking in compositions, working with larger shapes, layering, and using loose marks and washes to capture atmosphere, light, and mood.
The workshop is as much about connection as it is about painting – a chance to meet fellow travellers and locals in a cosy context. I’ve had a connection to Füssen for over 20 years and I consider this region one of my homes! I’m happy to share insider knowledge, hidden gems, and personal tips to help you experience the area.
A relaxed creative experience, with all materials and refreshments provided, and a chance to meet interesting people from near and far while exploring your own take on the landscape.
