The studio operates on scheduled opening times rather than daily walk-in hours. Public sessions, workshops, and Community Groups take place at set times, which will gradually move toward a more regular weekly rhythm.
Current availability and bookable sessions are always shown in the online calendar. If a session isn’t listed, the studio is not open to the public at that time.
On some days, the studio is closed to the public for private practice, preparation, or maintenance. -
All prices are shown clearly on the website and at checkout before booking. Workshops include materials unless stated otherwise. Open Studio sessions and Community Groups are bring-your-own-materials.
-
Workshops are guided sessions with instruction and materials included (unless noted).
Open Studio sessions are unguided 3-hour blocks for independent work with your own materials.
Community Groups are lightly facilitated, social making sessions without formal teaching.
The format is always clearly stated on the booking page. -
One Open Studio session equals a 3-hour studio block.
-
Please allow the last 10–15 minutes of your booked session for tidying up. This time is included within your session.
Before leaving, we ask everyone to wipe down their work area, return shared tools to their places, and leave the space ready for the next group.
Thank you for helping keep the studio calm, welcoming, and beautiful for everyone. -
Workshop bookings can be cancelled at least 48 hours before the workshop start time and are eligible for a refund or credit.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop, or no-shows, cannot be refunded or credited, as preparation, materials, and administrative time have already been committed. -

Ceramics take time. Pieces need to dry, be trimmed, fired, glazed, and fired again. Finished work is usually ready for collection after 4–8 weeks.
You’ll be emailed once your piece is ready. Please collect within 4 weeks of notification. After that, uncollected work may be reclaimed to preserve shared shelf space. -
The studio sinks are set up with a clay trap to protect the plumbing.
Please do not rinse paint or glaze brushes in the clay sink. A separate sink is provided for paint and glaze clean-up.
Thank you for helping us keep the studio working well for everyone. -
