This is a four-week course running on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am to 12:00 midday, with each 2.5-hour session giving you plenty of time to develop your skills across the four weeks. Sessions for this course take place on:

You’ll be introduced to core handbuilding techniques—pinching, coiling, and slab building—while experimenting with a variety of tools and clay bodies. You’ll also have the opportunity to try the potter’s wheel, taking turns throwing and trimming.
Follow your own ideas or draw inspiration from prompts and demonstrations as you create cups, bowls, vases, planters, and more. This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience. Pieces will be glazed and fired for you, ready to collect in 6-8 weeks.
Please note: this course focuses on making and does not include glazing. If you would like to practice glazing your own work, a follow-up course will be available.
