Life Drawing

A welcoming, beginner-friendly drawing session focused on observation, curiosity, and the joy of drawing from the human form. Working from a live model, you’re invited to explore line, shape, movement, and expression in your own way.

The session begins with a series of shorter poses to encourage you to capture the essence with quick, gestural mark-making. These are followed by longer poses, giving you time to settle into observation and develop work at your own pace. As the session continues you’ll naturally explore key life drawing principles such as proportion, balance, and the relationship between figure and space. This is an unguided session, with no pressure to produce finished work or draw in a particular style. It’s a space to experiment, stay curious, and observe without worrying about getting it “right”.

The atmosphere is calm, cosy, and respectful, with the session professionally facilitated to ensure clear structure and a comfortable environment for both participants and model. Gentle breaks between poses offer time to stretch, chat, and reset before returning to your work.

Suitable for a range of experience levels, you are welcome to bring your favourite materials, or choose from a small selection available in the studio.

Follow movement, explore form, capture presence.
